  • i liked the slide show
and i think adding some relaxation music in the background would really enhance it!

  • I’m sorry that your birth experiences became “worse” with each one. There are many factors that contribute to childbirth outcomes, such as: expectations, support (or lack of), fear, baby’s position, history of trauma, location of birth, ability to move, fluid and food intake, physical anomalies, etc.
This is why hypnosis for childbirth is so wonderful. Nearly all conditions can be addressed in some manner – from easing the discomfort of nausea to eliminating the sensation of “pain.”

  • I have given birth 5 times, each one WORSE than the last. I did try these and simalar techniques but as the pain intensified I was unable to focus and regain any control of the situation. Although I must say, all ended with the births of my children and that was the point of it all really!

  • I’m not sure what you mean asking about why women change their mind and what isn’t working for them?
Fear is major contributing factor to the way in which women experience childbirth. It doesn’t help when care providers make comments that instill those fears too. Watching “scary” birth shows and listening to negative birth stories compound fears.
My suggestion to all mothers is to always focus on what you want to achieve and not what you don’t want to happen. Not easy for some to do.

  • Why do *most* women change their mind at the last minute? Most women who try it say it doesn’t work for them.

  • i am due any day now and am having a home birth. thanks for these affirmations. I also had a lot of support from a friend named Robin Alexis. She recently posted a video on YOUTUbe..type in “metaphysical mother” shes a great talent at helping women be empowered throughout pregnancy.

  • Affirmations work because they enter the subconscious mind and help re-train it to have a new belief system, while allowing the person saying the affirmations to *feel* better.(as long as the affirmations are positive ones!) What we think about determines how we *feel* and what we think about *most* becomes our reality. The mind is trained automatically to do that, so we need to think positive affirmations – what we *do* want to happen, not the opposite.

  • This works. Affirmations I made (about 50 times a day) came true.
I dont know HOW it works, but it does!
