What are Affirmations? af-fir-ma-tion [af-er-mey-shun] 1. The act or an instance of affirming; state of being affirmed. 2. the assertion that something exists or is true. 3. something that is affirmed; a statement or proposition that is declared to be true. 4. confirmation or ratification of the truth or validity of a prior judgment, decision, etc. Thoughts repeated regularly and systematically sink into the subconscious mind and become habitual. Affirmations as these are called have been used by many of the greatest people of our society. Finding the right affirmations to use must come from within. It is important that your affirmations are written in your own words since the subconscious will react better to your own thoughts than to the thoughts of someone else. Start by taking notice of what you want to change in yourself. Write down on paper your thoughts, desires and feelings that you wish to improve upon. Then you need to use words and phrases for your affirmations in a positive manner rather than a negative manner. As an example, if you wanted to quit smoking, you wouldn’t want to program your Awake2000 Mindmaster unit with affirmations such as “Cigarette smoking makes me sick” because you will in turn cause yourself to get sick. It is better to program affirmations like “I am a non-smoker” or “I am healthy and dislike the smell and taste of cigarette smoke” thereby telling the subconscious to see a different you. Are you having fun yet?

Seriously….Are you having some fun this summer? Hopefully you’ve answered yes! You see, most of us (including me), forget to take the time for good old fashioned F-U-N!

Wouldn’t it be great to be a kid again….just to be silly and live in joy and wonder? As adults most often we’re way too serious, we’re stressed much of the time, and working so hard we don’t have the time or the energy left for much else.

Isn’t that an oxymoron… the more I relax and have serious fun, the more I get!

You see “having fun” is more than just fun.  The vibration of having fun is very powerful!

  1. It shifts our focus off of our problems and what we perceive as the "lack" in our life
  2. We let go of resistance and relax in the present moment
  3. Having fun uplifts us
  4. It puts us in a positive frame of mind which evokes positive moods and feelings
  5. It brings about a new perspective and reminds us what we value in life
  6. When you step away for a time and come back to your work, you have a fresh positive perspective

Then all of these wonderful feel good emotions activate the powerful Law of Attraction and who knows all of the wonderful things you could be attracting, just by having fun!


Remember that the Law of Attraction draws the
same energy to you that you’re putting out.


So there you have it! Focus on Fun and you'll get more of the same joyful experience!


Recently my fun loving boyfriend invited me on a road trip. Not just any road trip…. A Harley Bike Trip!  At first I came up with a million excuses why I couldn’t go…. but his enthusiasm was contagious and I cautiously agreed to ride along.

Through Texas, through Louisiana, through Alabama we cruised….13 hours each way! I can’t remember the last time I had such a blast! I felt so free, so light, so sore (ha ha). We created wonderful memories; we set off a flood of positive vibes, and let the universe know we’re open to more wonderful adventures!

So what can you do?

Decide now to make time for fun in your life! Even if you start with a few minutes each day set the energy of FUN into motion! Enjoy, relax, giggle, and come from a place of lightheartedness!

Up-level your life’s energy, and you’ll open yourself up to all the good that can come your way!
